Upon arrival, you will spend 2 nights in Kathmandu, exploring UNESCO heritage sites before heading to Syaphrubensi by 4WD. The trekkers pass through Sherpa villages to reach Langtang valley going through amazing views of rushing rivers, beautiful cedar forests and flowers, high alpine meadows, yak pastures, jaw dropping views of soaring Himalayan peaks including the mighty Shishapangma, Manaslu Massif, Ganesh Himal, Langtang and Jugal Himal. The village of Kyanjin Gompa is the last village in the langtang park where we spend 2 nights to explore around and summit the Tsergo Ri peak (4984m), surrounded by snow peaks on all sides. After a brief backtracking till Pairo, we start ascending through Syabru and Sing Gompa to the high plateau, where the sacred lake of Gosainkund is located. Crossing the Laurebena Pass (4,610 m) is another highlight of our Langtang Gosainkund trek and proceed south, leaving the Langtang area behind as we trek through the scenic Helambu Valley to Sundarijal before driving back to Kathmandu.
